Micahel D. Capellas is Founder and CEO of Capellas Partners, a strategic technology advisory firm. A four-time corporate CEO, Michael’s career as a global technology leader has spanned from innovative technology start-ups to large corporate turnarounds including Compaq Computer Corporation, HP and First Data Corporation. As CEO and Chairman of Worldcom post-bankruptcy, Michael transformed it from a long-distance provider into the world’s largest carrier of internet traffic, restructured the company and relisted on the NASDAQ as the new MCI. He currently serves on the Board of Flex (Chair), Cisco, MuleSoft (Independent Lead Director), JDA (Chair), Solace Systems, and Cylance. Michael graduated from Kent State University and lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
